Our Girls Prep for the Green Earth Fair: Part II

After wallowing in mud for what seemed like ages, but was actually only a few days of rain, Brie decided she had enough of seeing her hens looking brown, wet, and miserable. Knowing that the Green Earth Fair  is just around the corner, we sprung into action.

A quick bubble bath for the girls was in order, while I tended to coop cleaning duty. The first to be dipped... Beatrice. She was a sport about it, as you can see here. Lady Gaga, on the other hand, had a slightly different reaction.

The girls, post bath... no harm, no "fowl."

Needless to say, I wouldn't want to mess with this bird.


The girls enjoyed a lengthy free range during their spa treatment, and are squeaky clean... Voila!

We are ready for the event at Earthplace, this Saturday, April 30. The weather forecast looks promising... sunny and warm.
